A Classic Reimagined

For more than half a century, golf has been at the heart of Sugar Mill. Today, our 27-hole course blends the character of Joe Lee’s original design with thoughtful enhancements by architect Ron Garl, creating three distinct nines that offer variety, challenge and a fresh experience with every round.

Surrounded by the natural beauty of coastal Florida and recognized by Audubon International for environmental stewardship, Sugar Mill offers a golf experience that feels both timeless and distinctly its own.

Stay for a While

 Some of the best moments at Sugar Mill happen when the game is over. Meet friends for lunch, linger over dinner or gather for one of the many social events that bring members together throughout the year. With welcoming spaces, great food and familiar faces, there’s always a reason to stay a little longer.

I’ve been a member of Sugar Mill Country Club for ten years. It’s been a wonderful experience highlighted by the quality of the golf courses and the diversity of other activities including tennis, pickleball, and a full-scale activity center. In addition, the clubhouse offers a variety of dining options from casual to upscale wine dinners. However, the most satisfying aspect is the community of members that we have come to know. It’s a feeling of being a member of not just a club, but a family or like the tag line from “Cheers”: “you want to go where everybody knows your name.”
